City of TAMPA

$190.00

Product Specs

Size: 24”×40“ Canvas Print
Hanging Hardware: Included

“Painted for the Children’s Cancer Center’s Wine, Women, and Shoes event at Armature Works, this piece raised $18,000 in its live auction.”

The Inspiration
The design centers on a pirate skull with “Tampa” stretched across the canvas in bold black, surrounded by local landmarks like the Sykes Building, Centro Ybor logo, University of Tampa, and the Lightning bolt. I scuffed the surface to resemble a weathered pirate map, layering in white abstract marks for age and grit.
